Municipal Electric Aggregation (MEA) Council Directive

For reference, the City's MEA program has yielded a long-term average rate that is aprx. 10% less than the fluctuating market rate over the life of the program.

At different times we have been able to maximize REC purchasing up to 100% and cover City administrative fees for operating the program while maintaining a supply cost savings but the recent changes in the energy market volatility have made balancing all of this much more difficult.
